Description

The Tropical and Pristine Cloud Forest of Los Santos Forest Reserve, provides the perfect setting for a unique place in Costa Rica, Suria Lodge. At an altitude of 7000 ft. above sea level, surrounded by an incredible diversity of Flora and avifauna, more than 180 species of birds, including the quetzal and large amount of flowering plants.
Our lodge is nestled within a peaceful cloudforest where you can enjoy trails, waterfalls, freshwater fishing, and above all the beauty of the resplendent QUETZAL.

How to get there?

We are located in San Gerardo de Dota, just one hour and forty-five minutes from downtown San Jose. Our location lies within the protected area known as the Los Santos forest reserve. To reach us, take the Interamerican Highway South (Ruta 2) to kilometer 80. Take a right and descend nine kilometers along a well-marked road, following the signs to Suria Lodge, (Four-wheel drive is not necessary.)
