Description

Mas Trobat is set in the midst of cultivated fields, with different crops depending on the time of year. In the background, there is a green blanket of forest.
The remains of stone sinks, stone window benches in many of the windows, stone walls, joists in the ceilings and large brick vaults give our house the typical appearance of a farmhouse from this period.
The entrance is surprising thanks to the large vault in the ceiling and the old stone staircase. The old stables are now a comfortable sitting room and the kitchen's original oven is still in the dining room.
Upstairs there is the typical room that acts as a distributor for the bedrooms. This room has been divided into two to make the most of the old barn which was reached by climbing a stepladder.
We have 8 very spacious double rooms, with large windows and spectacular views of El Pla, Les Gavarres or the Pyrenees .
Each room is equipped with heating, conditioned air, a double bed with a wrought iron bed-head, bedside tables, a cupboard, a desk, television and WiFi connection.
They all have an en suite bathroom with a hydromassage bath.
I would particularly like to mention the “Mas Trobat” room, with a beautiful wrought iron bed with a canopy, in which we have also proudly placed my grandfather Joan's old desk.
The most spectacular views can be got from the highest room in the house, the old barn. From the windows with their semicircular arch, you can see the mountains of Els Àngels, presided over by the sanctuary.
Behind the house, there is a pond surrounded by plants which was used for storing rainwater.
